Duality comes in multitudes. One is not inherently the opposite of the other. The concept of contrast allows one to be examined in the gray area of comparison. Juxtaposing the same objects in different environments to contextualize the idea of contrast. We are presenting a medium that allows for objects to be seen in a dual multitude, presenting the idea duality exists only through the action of examining things per contra.
per contra is a 100-page photobook created with two sides. Always thinking in multitudes; the physical book features side 1, (glossy) and side 2, (matte). Complete with two covers. Each editorial is named after a common superstition and features highlighted letters that you can put together to decipher the theme of issue 02.
